Let's Explore Christmas at the YO Ranch Hotel in Kerrville, TX (the hill country).

I've visited this property several times over the last couple of years.  It's a great little place with cozy rooms and balconies, the pool is great in the summer and on weekends there's a swim up pool bar open.


The decor in the main lobby is true western/Texan style - BIG!  It has all sorts of neat items and decorations.

This past Christmas I got to take a lot of pictures of the decorations, including the large bear all dressed up in a Christmas scarf and the tree, which easily could have been 50 feet tall.


Don't skip the breakfast buffet in the morning!


This place is a great option if you want to stay close to I-10 but still be close enough to drive to Fredericksburg and the wineries.  In fact there's a winery just up the road from the hotel, only about 2 miles or so.
